Mi tía Elenita
Mi tía Elenita, es una mujer que hace esto: está hablando conmigo y un broche mío le recuerda a otro parecido que tuvo su madre, mi abuela Elena, que murió. Se pone a contármelo pucheros y empieza a hurgar en su bolso buscando un pañuelo. A esas alturas ya tiene buenos lagrimones. En esas, encuentra una postal que ha recibido de su hijo. La saca y empieza a describir los bordados de las toallas del lujoso hotel donde está mi primo, con tal primor y lujo de detalles…
Se encuentra con la postal en una mano, el pañuelo en la otra, llorando y riéndose de la broma de la postal y de mi abuela, sin dejar de hablar y de darme golpecitos en el brazo, y a mí me tranquiliza muchísimo pensar que lo cortés no quita lo valiente, mi abuela no quita mi primo, el llanto no quita la charla, la charla no quita la risa. Qué riqueza, así da gusto.
En fin, que me entretiene muchísimo.
También es bastante marrón (mezcla de verde y rojo) como la vida, como mi familia.

My Aunt Elenita is a woman who does this: she is talking to me and a brooch I am wearing reminds her of a similar that her mum, my late grandmother Elena, used to have. So yes, she is very entertaining.
She is also quite brown (a mixture of green and red) like life, like my family.
